Principal's Letter

 Greetings from St. Peter School!

Here at St. Peter Catholic School, we strive to offer a strong academic education in a Christ centered community that emphasizes Christian moral values.  We want our students to be prepared morally, academically, socially and culturally to make positive contributions, now and in the future, as both local and global citizens.

Our staff members are fully certified by the state of Ohio and our school has full accreditation through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.

We are a school of Preschoolers through Junior High students. On opening day of the 2007-2008 school year, we opened our doors to 196 students.  Our preschoolers attend mornings only, while our kindergarten follows an all-day schedule.  The particulars about tuition, registration, times of attendance, etc.  can be found in the parent/student handbook.

We are proud to offer a curriculum that not only provides for academic excellence in the core subjects, but also develops the intelligences in the fields of art, music, foreign language, physical education and computer technology.  Students have many opportunities to carry out roles in the weekly liturgies and are given experiences in many of the rituals and traditions of the Catholic Church.  They also have opportunities for service projects and extra-curricular activities.  Our students participate in football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track through either the St. Peter CYO or through the Sandusky Central Catholic Schools.

All new registration for the coming school year is done on Registration Sunday, which is always the first Sunday of  March.  However, you are welcome to call to schedule a visit or stop by anytime to have a look or to receive more information about St. Peter School.

                                                                                                Sincerely yours,
