A Bit About Me
I grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and attended St. Mary of the Falls Catholic School. I moved to Huron, Ohio from the Toledo area in 2021 to be with my family. I have degrees in Elementary Education, School Guidance and Counseling, and Administration from Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. My first teaching experience was at Queen of Apostles School as a sixth grade teacher. However, most of my career was spent with Toledo Public Schools in a variety of roles as school counselor, assistant principal, and principal. I am very grateful to continue my career where it began…the Catholic school system!
In my spare time, you can find me in my garden, working on DIY projects around my home, playing board and trivia games, bowling, traveling, and enjoying the company of my family and friends. I live with my dad, Richard, and our two dogs, Apollo and Yogi. We are proud parishioners of St. Peter Catholic Church.

A Bit About Me
I have been an avid boater in Huron for over 20 years and, in 2020, made the exciting decision to relocate here from the Cleveland area. Married for 32 wonderful years, I am the proud parent of two adult children: one serving in the Air Force and the other pursuing a career in dental school.
When I’m not at school, you can find me in one of three places: coaching on a volleyball court during JO Season, enjoying the summer on my boat, or curled up on the couch with my beloved cats, Ginger and Glizzy, binge-watching TV.

I am excited about another year teaching the three- and four-year-old classes at this wonderful school. I am blessed to work with dedicated educators and moms, Christie Roberts and Melissa Herzog.
Prior to teaching, I attended the University of Dayton where I played collegiate volleyball. Go Flyers! I had a successful career in pharmaceutical sales then chose to stay home to raise our children.
Denny, my husband is a principal at Port Clinton Middle School.
My husband Denny and I have lived in Huron for nine years and just celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary. We are blessed to have three children attending St. Peter: Ben(7th), Jake(6th), and Maddison(2nd). I volunteer time coaching the 4th grade girls’ volleyball team. When we are not busy with sporting events, you can find us boating on the lake.

A Bit About Me
Hello! I’m so excited to journey through this year with you! St. Pete’s has been home for me since way back when I was a Bobcat. After 8th grade, I attended SCCS for high school and then left for the muddy shores of the St. Joseph River in South Bend, IN. There I had a wonderful time pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!). As a senior in college, I was a teaching assistant for an Honors Biology lab and realized that teaching is really fun! Fortunately, BGSU was kind enough to bring me into their graduate program and put together a Masters in Teaching and Certification program (Go Falcons!). Mr. Lamb and I have 6 kids, 1 frog, and 25 years of marriage together. I can’t wait to partner with you and to share the gifts that have been shared with me. Please keep all of us in prayer this year!

A Bit About Me
¡Hola! My name is Rachael Bryant. I have had the pleasure of teaching Spanish for over 10 years now. My journey as a Spanish teacher has been a fulfilling and enriching experience that has shaped me personally and professionally.
One of my primary motivations for teaching Spanish is the opportunity to foster cross-cultural understanding and empathy among students. I aim to nurture global citizens who can engage with and respect diverse cultures in an increasingly interconnected world.
Through my dedication to language education, I have inspired curiosity, fostered cultural awareness, and instilled a love for learning in my students. As I continue this path, I am committed to empowering students to connect with the Spanish-speaking world and embrace the beauty of a language and culture. In my spare time, I love to travel and immerse myself in new languages, cuisines, and ways of life.

A Bit About Me
I am your art teacher here at St. Peter School. I love working with all of the children on art projects and creating exciting works of art with them.
I was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, and attended St. Paul’s, St. Thomas Aquinas, and then Canton McKinley Sr. High School. I joined the Army upon graduation during the Gulf War, and Uncle Sam decided I was needed in Alaska, so was sent there as a telecommunications and radio operator. I enrolled in the University of Alaska while serving and majored in Fine and Applied Art, History, English and Literature. After having three children and working in the Alaska Public Schools for 15 years, I decided to move back to Ohio to be near family. Vermilion has been home to me since 2007.
I enrolled in BGSU, where I received my BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2010. I was employed with VLSD for several years. I have always wanted to work for a school similar to the one I attended growing up, and I feel I have found that here at St. Peter’s School. I love that we are like family, are free to worship God, and learn to love one another. There is no other place I would wish to work than here! I look forward to seeing our students and staff every day.
My hobbies include exploring castles, traveling, history, the arts, cooking, painting, camping, canning, and gardening. I like meeting new people on my travels and learning new things.
I love spending time with my granddaughter Palmer, who is a third grader at our school. There is a good chance you may run into us at Cedar Point over the summer!
I am thrilled to have joined the St. Peter’s School community this year! In my 12 years of experience in education, I have taught students ranging from 3-year-olds to high school seniors. A Bit About Me
I grew up in Toledo, Ohio, and attended Gesu Grade School and St. Ursula High School. I live in Fremont, Ohio, with my wonderful husband of 28 years, David, and our son, Joe, who currently attends the Clark Inclusive Scholars’ Program at BGSU Firelands. Our other two adult children are both teachers. Maggie teaches at Lial Catholic School in Whitehouse, and Alex is a Band director for the Holgate School District.
I have my teaching license as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Public Communication with a Minor in Marketing from BGSU. I previously taught in the Clyde Green-Springs Public School District. I am now very excited to be part of the St. Peter’s Catholic School Team as we celebrate our faith and educate our children in all facets of life!
When I’m not at school, I’m in my flower garden painting the landscape by dividing my perennials and timing them to bloom with different colors at different times throughout the summer, like living ornamental fireworks. (I have 11 different kinds of daylilies in my “Daylily Alley” - my nod to Harry Potter!) I speak conversational French and raise monarchs and swallowtails in the summertime. We have a red and blue Betta fish named Betta and are members of St. John the XXIII.
I, of course, love singing, and am honored and excited to open new experiences to the wonderful world of music with your children. We will be singing, dancing, playing instruments, building our fluency in note and rhythm recognition, and composing and performing. Please let me know if you would ever want to share your musical gifts with us!!!!

A Bit About Me
I am the “lunch lady” at St. Peter School, a role I proudly held for seven years before taking a short break. Now, I’m thrilled to be back! My love for St. Peter School runs deep. Together with my late husband, we raised six children, all of whom graduated from SPS. Our unique claim to fame is having had a student at SPS for 33 consecutive years! I also attended SPS from 2nd through 8th grade.
Family is the most important aspect of my life, and most of my activities involve them, including my 12 wonderful grandchildren!
