Walk-a-Thon

The We Walk by Faith walk-a-thon is back for its 12th year, and it’s bigger and better than ever! This beloved event is the highlight of the year for our students, families and community. It’s not just a walk; it’s a celebration of faith, community and the spirit of giving.

How Do I Donate?

Making a donation is simple and impactful. Donations are flat-rate, not based on laps walked, and are credited to the entire family. Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Online: Fill out the donation form on our website and pay via PayPal or credit/debit card.
  • Mail: Send your donation to St. Peter Catholic School, 430 Main Street, Huron, OH 44839. Please make checks payable to St. Peter Catholic Church and include a note with the student or family you are sponsoring.

 

We invite you to walk with us by faith and make a difference for our students. Your support helps us continue to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. Let’s make this year’s walk-a-thon the best one yet!

Diocese of Toledo Scholarship Fund (SGO)

A new program through the state of Ohio allows donors to direct their tax dollars to scholarship programs. Through the Diocese of Toledo Scholarship Fund, you can now contribute funds that will be used to provide tuition assistance for students to attend Catholic schools in the Diocese of Toledo, and you will receive a 100% Ohio income tax credit of up to $750 for individual filers and up to $1,500 for joint filers against your state tax liability. In other words, the state of Ohio allows you to “spend” some of the state income taxes you must pay anyway to provide tuition assistance for students seeking an education in our Catholic schools. This means there is no net cost to you as a donor! The Toledo Scholarship Fund is a win-win-win for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, and dioceses.

 

By participating in this SGO program, each dollar you donate reduces what you owe in taxes by a dollar.

Volunteers

Volunteers are very important to St. Peter, and we appreciate your time and commitment to our students and staff. 

​

Before volunteering, all volunteers must complete Virtus Training and obtain a background check as dictated by the Diocese of Toledo. The faculty is given a complete list of Virtus-trained volunteers. All volunteers must sign in and out at the school office.
